Who is eligible to
enter the competitions? Anyone who can write
and who is eighteen years of age.
Is there a minimum age or a maximum age limit?
We welcome young and old, but the minimum age is 18.
Do I have to be an Indian National to enter? No. Any citizen of the world can enter.
Can I enter all the competitions?
Yes, but the maximum number for each category
is six.
Can two or more people pay together? Yes, as long as the fee adds up right for the number
of entries and the details of authorship are clear.
Who decides the winners? We will
decide on a panel of competent judges.
Will I get back my entry? No, the logistics make it difficult. Please ensure
you keep a copy before you send it in.
Will the judges be influenced by the names? No. All our judges are chosen for their integrity
and expertise. Further all entries will have the
names masked.
Is the title included in the word count? No. But please make sure the title is of a
reasonable length.
What if I exceed the word limit by a few words? Sorry. We have to disqualify you. We have to abide
by our own rules and regulations.
What if I don’t want to enter the competitions, I
only want to have my work evaluated or edited?

What are the different methods of payment (fees)?

Can I pay by cheque or draft and submit my work
through email? Yes you can. Just make sure we can match the payment
with the work submitted by doing the following:
1. Include your payment details when submitting your
work by email, as a word document attachment to
info@unisun4writers.com 2. Enclose a letter with your name, title of piece,
email id and contact number along with the
DD/IPO. Please write your name behind
the DD.
What about the copyright? The copyright remains with the author though you
will have to give us exclusive publishing rights for
a period of time (3 years).
What if I have already published the piece on the
net or elsewhere? Sorry. Give us another piece. Unisun Publications
insists on new original work and you have to sign a
declaration to that effect when you enter.
