PAYAL TALREJA |
|
|
Payal Talreja has been in love with words as far back as she can remember. She did not choose words - words chose her. Trained as a physiotherapist, she stopped working to bring up her two children. Today, she spends five to six hours writing every day. Interested in exploring all facets of human expression, she is currently learning Italian so that she can live la bella vita. Like every poet, she brings her experiences and observations to her strongly feministic poems. Although she loves prose, she believes that poetry is tougher because each word has to be taut with meaning; rich with metaphor, and vivid with imagery.
